    FIFA president Gianni Infantino suggests his organisation is willing to walk back its original plan for the 2026 World Cup


    The first 48-team tournament in four years time had been planned with pools of three.

    However, Infantino says this year's drama-filled last match days of each group in Qatar are challenging their thinking, if they can settle on the right format with 12 pools.
