    The Council of Cargo Owners says a new regional Indo-Pacific supply chain agreement was needed


    Trade and Export Growth Minister, Damien O'Connor, has signed a 14 country-strong agreement at the APEC Trade Ministers meeting in Detroit.

    O'Conner says Covid and the war in Ukraine demonstrates how delivery disruptions affect the cost of living.

    Chair Ant Boyles says keeping things moving will normalise costs.

    He says there will always be peaks and troughs, but having a resilient supply chain could prevent the extremes we have seen recently.
