Police are seeking help to find a man missing from Kapiti, north of Wellington, for over three weeks

Duncan Hill was last seen by his landlord at his Otaki Gorge home on the afternoon of October fifth.

Senior Sergeant Sam Gilpin says the 59-year-old left his vehicle and other personal items at home.

He says Hill has limited mobility due to a back injury, and his loved ones are concerned.

Police, along with family, have completed searches of the immediate surrounding area, however it's difficult terrain and an isolated area.

He's been known to spend periods of time alone or in the company of spiritual groups.
