Eighteen days on from her disappearance, and there's still no trace of missing Otaki woman Michaela Leger

Eighteen days on from her disappearance, and there's still no trace of missing Otaki woman Michaela Leger

The 29 year old was last seen paddling out into the ocean, on an allegedly stolen kayak, on the night of October 21.

Police have spent the weekend scouring the coastlines of four islands in the area.

Land search and rescue, Coastguard, Surf Life Saving, DOC, and the Air Force have all been involved in the search.

It's understood Leger vanished days before a scheduled court appearance.
