    Kiwis skipper James Fisher-Harris has paid tribute to his former international coach Michael Maguire after winning rugby league's Golden Boot award

    The prop thanked Maguire at an award presentation in Sydney - praising the gaffer for his development as a player and for having faith in him as captain.

    Fisher-Harris wished his former mentor all the best in his future role as New South Wales coach.

    Kiwi Ferns co-captain Georgia Hale claimed the women's world players' of the year honour.
