    Former Warriors playmaker Ronald Volkman's expected to be released from his NRL contract with the St George-Illawarra Dragons

    Volkman was granted a release from the Warriors two years early to link up with the Dragons, but scans have revealed a shoulder issue which requires season-ending surgery.

    The Daily Telegraph reports the Dragons had not registered Volkman's contract with the NRL and now will not do so.
