Kiwi Speed Skier Tawny Wagstaff has claimed the first speed skiing World Cup podium of his career with a third place finish in France

This result also marks the first speed skiing World Cup podium for a New Zealand athlete since record keeping started in 2002.

Wagstaff reached a mind-boggling speed of 212.61 kilometres per hour to secure the bronze medal - just 1.9 kilometres per hour behind the winner.

The good news on the slopes continues...with New Zealand skiier Finn Bilous claiming a maiden podium finish at the first stop of the 2024 Freeride World Tour in Switzerland.
