    A message to golf's top brass from Joaquin Niemann after his dramatic victory in the LIV League's 2024 season opener


    The Chilean beat Spain's Sergio Garcia on the fourth playoff to win the tournament in Mexico - the pair finishing in near darkness, with lighting needing on the 18th green.

    With LIV event's still not recognised by the official world rankings body - Niemann is not yet qualified for some of this year's majors - prompting this statement in his post round interview.
