The countdown's on to a big night of sport

The countdown's on to a big night of sport

Super Rugby Pacific kicks off just after 7 with a grand final rematch between the Chiefs and the champion Crusaders.

Then shortly afterwards, the Black Caps take on Australia in the second T20, looking to level the series at Eden Park.

Kosta Barbarouses' absence from the Wellington Phoenix men's ranks should be short-lived.

The star striker suffered a "small grade" calf tear but is likely to only sit out tomorrow night's A-League football game in Perth.

Captain Alex Rufer is expected to return to start and play the full 90 minutes.

Defender Tim Payne is fine to start too, while midfielder Bozhidar Kraev is set to come off the bench after also overcoming an injury.
