    The hosts came firing out of the gate, leading 12-nil after 14 minutes with tries to prop Addin Fonua-Blake and five-eighth Luke Metcalf.

    Cronulla cut the lead to six at halftime, before scoring immediately after the break to trim the lead to 12-10.

    Sharks centre Siosifa Talakai ultimately scored the game-winner with a try in the 58th minute.
