She's finished in a tie for fourth at the Blue Bay event in China having entered the final round in a share of the lead.
Ko carded a one under par 71 to finish at 13 under overall - six shots back of winner Bailey Tardy.
The world number seven requires one more tournament victory to enter the tour's Hall of Fame.
