No hard feelings from the Manawatu Rugby Union towards possible plans for a reduced broadcasting schedule for the provincial game in the future

No hard feelings from the Manawatu Rugby Union towards possible plans for a reduced broadcasting schedule for the provincial game in the future

The New Zealand Herald reports that from 2026, Sky Sport could pull the plug on hosting live NPC and FPC rugby games each week - in an effort to limit costs.

Manawatu boss Tim Myers welcomes the move as it will loosen restrictions on where the union can field games, leading to more contests in intimate settings.
