    A stern reminder from police against reckless behaviour, after an Auckland man allegedly tried to avoid arrest


    A vehicle sped away from Police in Lynfield, after a report of a person with a firearm about 2am.

    A person then leaving the area on a stolen bicycle , was arrested.

    West City Prevention Manager Inspector Wayne Kitcher says no firearm was found, but the man put the community at risk.

    A 30-year-old's appearing in Auckland District Court today.
