Another pay offer is on the table for Police - after union members labelled the last one insulting

Another pay offer is on the table for Police - after union members labelled the last one insulting

The Police Association rejected a five-thousand-dollar wage increase proposed earlier this month - saying officers weren't being afforded the respect they deserve.

The Government looks to have found up to 250-million-dollars more - to put towards its revised offer.

Police Association president Chris Cahill says the offer's been put to a members vote - and an outcome will be reached in the next two weeks.

He says the members need to get some money in their pockets - and whether this offer does that or if they need more, is up to them.
