Former New Zealand league, union and sevens representative Honey Hireme-Smiler believes there'll soon be women's athletes playing Super Rugby Aupiki and NRLW in the same year

The Warriors women will return to the competition next year, with recruitment manager Andrew McFadden indicating they'll target rugby and sevens stars in assembling their squad.

Super Rugby Aupiki finished this month and the NRLW doesn't kick off until July.

Hireme-Smiler's told The Big League Podcast if the calendar remains the same, players will be able to do both.
