Crusaders captain Scott Barrett's demanding more from his playing group as the pressure mounts on coach Rob Penney

Crusaders captain Scott Barrett's demanding more from his playing group as the pressure mounts on coach Rob Penney

The Super Rugby champions host the Rebels on Friday night - fresh from defeats over the Waratahs and Force on the road.

The blowtorch has been applied to Penney externally - with the side last on the table after just one win from eight games.

He's been publicly backed by CEO Colin Mansbridge who has ruled out a midseason coaching change.

Barrett - who's missed the last five games with injury - says those on the field need to be better.
