The Prime Minister says changes to the education system will be felt throughout New Zealand

The Prime Minister says changes to the education system will be felt throughout New Zealand

The Government's laid out its six education priorities - including a clearer curriculum, a better approach to literacy and numeracy - and more consistent assessment.

It also wants more effective learning support, improved teacher training and use of data to drive improvement.

Chris Luxon says it's been one of his biggest concerns since entering politics.

He says there's nothing more important than getting kids a world-class education and receiving that not only sets them up for success, but all of New Zealand.
