Residents aren't taking any chances as flooding intensify's in southern US

Strong storms and heavy rainfall have been wreaking havoc in Texas since early April, washing away vehicles, damaging homes and triggering evacuations.

FOX Weather Correspondent Nicole Valdes, told Sky News the floods are being compared to the devastating Hurricane Harvey in 2017.

She says parts of the region have recorded up to seven inches of rain in the past 24 hours.
