    Kiwi cyclist Dion Smith has a key job in his return to his old team for his first Giro d'Italia this weekend

    After four years away, the 31-year old rejoinined Belgian team Intermarché-Wanty , where he's set to become just the eighth New Zealander to compete in all three cycling Grand Tours.

    And Smith says his main job is to look after the team's star rider, Biniam Girmay.



    The race starts in Turin on Sunday.
