Black Ferns assistant coach Steve Jackson feels competition from rugby league for leading players is a healthy thing for the national rugby side

Black Ferns assistant coach Steve Jackson feels competition from rugby league for leading players is a healthy thing for the national rugby side

Number eight Liana Mikaele-Tu'u has revealed to Newstalk ZB that there's regular chatter within the team about the chance to switch codes ahead of the Warriors return to the NRL-W next year.

NZ-ME understands at least six Black Ferns and Black Ferns Sevens players are keen on a potential move.

Jackson says the interest is only natural.

The Black Ferns are in camp ahead of Saturday's Pacific Four opener against the United States in Hamilton.
