    Kiefer Sutherland swears at Slash

‘24’ star Kiefer Sutherland reportedly got so drunk at Elton John’s Oscars party on Sunday (22.02.09), he spent most of the evening swearing and making obscene gestures to former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash.

Kiefer Sutherland was so drunk at Elton John’s Oscar party he made obscene gestures at Slash.

The ‘24’ star – who checked into rehab after serving 48 days in jail in 2007 for driving under the influence (DUI) – reportedly spent the evening drinking whisky and coke and swearing loudly at guests including the former Guns N’ Roses guitarist.

Kiefer was seen staggering out of the exclusive bash at West Hollywood’s Pacific Design Centre just after midnight on Sunday (22.02.09).

Hours later, the 36-year-old actor was drinking whisky cocktails at Manhattan bar Peter Dillon’s.

He was reportedly quiet and friendly at first, but was soon “wasted” and starting fights.

A source said: "He was initially soft-spoken, mellow and pleasant. He was ordering Maker's Mark whiskey cocktails and was even posing for some pictures."

Several drinks later, the 42-year-old actor “flew off the handle” repeatedly pushing a man he claimed insulted him.

After his friends pulled him away, Kiefer allegedly apologised profusely for his behaviour and left a $20 tip.

A source told the National Enquirer magazine: “He was so wasted, he flung the bill and it landed nowhere near the bar."
