    Recreational Marine: Mana
Marine Weather Situation and Forecast issued at 1330hrs Monday 20-May-2024 by MetService

    Situation:
A front over the lower South Island weakens away today, as a complex trough moves onto the North Island from the Tasman Sea and affects the North Island into Tuesday, while a ridge of high pressure builds over the South Island. The trough moves eastwards on Wednesday to lie slow-moving to the east of the North Island dragging a showery east to southeast flow over the island through to Thursday. Meanwhile, a cold front reaches the far south late Thursday and travels up the South Island on Friday as a southwesterly flow strengthens over the country.
