Mycoplasma bovis has been found on two more North Island farms.
One is in the Waikato town of Cambridge, the other in Hastings.
The total number of farms with active infections is now 38.

The Government will put 30 million dollars into research, to support the fight against the cattle disease.
Agriculture and Biosecurity Minister Damien O'Connor says the investment addresses the bigger picture, scientific challenge.
He says top of the list priorities will be to develop a single animal test.
O'Connor says this will provide greater clarity to affected farmers, and help the Government understand the way the disease spreads.

Federated Farmers is keeping its distance from a stoush between Shane Jones and Fonterra.
Jones has openly criticised Fonterra's management, accusing them of being disconnected from farmers and calling for chairman John Wilson to resign.
Federated Farmers dairy chairman, Chris Lewis, is surprised at the comments, but won't say if it's a concern to their members.
