Acknowledgement Pharmac's record funding-boost, will address the fiscal cliff it faces

Acknowledgement Pharmac's record funding-boost, will address the fiscal cliff it faces

    30 April 2024
An additional 1.7-billion dollars spread over four-years has been ear-marked for the drug-buying agency, in the upcoming Budget.

Chief Executive Sarah Fitt says the extra cash covers time-limited funding for some treatments -- which ends this year.

She says the fiscal hole was always known, as the funds outlined in Budget 2022 only went though to Budget 2024.
