    A former Dilworth School teacher convicted of sexual abuse of multiple young boys will spend less time behind bars


    Open Justice reports a court's ruled Robert Wynyard should have been given a greater discount for reparation he paid his victims.

    The 74 year old was sentenced to six years and three months' jail in February for the historical abuse - spanning 20 years against eight victims.

    He appealed soon after, and Court of Appeal ruling released today reduces it to five years and 10 months.
