Buller, Westland and Fiordland A period of heavy rain spreading northwards today. Canterbury Fine and warm with northwesterlies up to severe gale inland. This afternoon, a squally southerly change spreads north bringing showers and possible thunderstorms. Otago and Southland Dry and warm at first. Northwesterlies, up to severe gale inland.
