Auckland to Kapiti, including Coromandel and the central high country
Fine and cloudy periods. Isolated showers, mainly about the ranges, clearing late tomorrow.
Bay of Plenty, Gisborne and Hawke's Bay
Long fine spells. Isolated showers developing this afternoon, mainly about the ranges.
Wellington and Wairarapa
Cloudy periods. A few showers becoming frequent and heavier for a time this afternoon and evening. Showers clearing tomorrow afternoon.
Nelson
Mainly fine, but isolated showers about the ranges.
Buller and Grey, also Canterbury to Southland
Showers easing and becoming scattered tomorrow morning, then clearing to partly cloudy later.
Westland and Fiordland
A few showers, mainly in Fiordland, clearing by this evening. Mostly fine tomorrow.
