Jennifer Lopez was denied entry to a Chanel store

The Jenny from the Block hitmaker was in Turkey this week for a performance at Yenikapi Festival Park during the Istanbul Festival and on Monday (04.08.25), she went on a shopping trip in the city, only to be told she couldn't enter the French fashion boutique

According to Turkiye Today, a security guard prevented Jennifer from entering the shore because it was at full capacity, but she took the news in her stride.

Before walking away, she replied: "Okay, no problem."

Although the 56-year-old star was invited back by the staff at the Chanel store, she visited other high-end retailers instead, heading into both Celine and Beymen.

She is said to have spent around three hours at the store, spending tens of thousands of dollars.

Last month, Jennifer suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction on stage when her skirt fell off.

The Hustlers star had taken her Up All Night: Live tour to the PGE Narodowy stadium in Warsaw, Poland on 25 July and had stepped out wearing a gold bikini top and matching skirt.

But as her crew sang Happy Birthday to her in honour of her turning 56 the day before, she was left red-faced when the garment pinged off as she walked across the stage.

After the skirt fell to the floor, Jennifer did a twirl to show off her gold underpants before saying: "I'm out here in my underwear ... That's gonna be everywhere."

One of her backing dancers tried to help reattach the skirt as Happy Birthday continued but the star just laughed and then threw the garment out into the audience, saying: "I'm glad that they reinforced that costume. And I'm glad I had underwear on. I don't usually wear underwear ...

"Guys I gotta tell you ... Yes you can keep it (the skirt) I don't want it back. I don't want it back you can have it forever and ever."

Jennifer then added: "I am so thankful to be here in beautiful Warsaw on my birthday.

"I gotta tell you, surrounded by my incredible dancers, my band, my crew, everybody - I am so blessed.

"I don't usually give any advice to anybody because I feel like we're all on our own specific journey ... If I had one little piece of advice for you, it would be to do what you love, find what you love, do it, and do it with people that you love, and then you will have the most amazing life. I can say that firsthand.

"I also want to say that I believe that the amount of happiness that you have in your heart is, is tied directly to how free you feel, and I wish you guys all the same happiness and freedom and the way you made me feel tonight ...

"I want you to be feel free to love, free to be who you are, free to just follow your dreams and do all the things that you want to do. I just want you to feel free."
