Damning claims from a former Welsh rugby international about New Zealand Rugby Players Association boss Rob Nichol

Damning claims from a former Welsh rugby international about New Zealand Rugby Players Association boss Rob Nichol

Alix Popham, a brain injury advocate diagnosed with Probable CTE in 2020, claims former Maori All Black Shane Christie - who died this week - released a recording of Nichol four weeks ago stating alcohol and drugs are the cause of serious brain injuries.

Popham indicates Nichol was downplaying the role of rugby in causing long term head injuries.
