Miles Teller is being sent Grateful Dead T-shirts by fans after losing his home in the California wildfires

The 37-year-old Hollywood actor and his wife Keleigh were left devastated after losing their house in the Pacific Palisades when a blaze ripped through the area - and he's now revealed he's thankful for all of the help he's being offered including gifts of shirts featuring his favourite band

He told E! News: "Many people have reached out, just either letting us know that they're there emotionally or people are offering us their place.

"I'm a Deadhead [Grateful Dead fan], and so I've had a lot of people reach out to Keleigh like: 'I want to send Miles a Grateful Dead shirt'.

"Little stuff just means a lot, so it's been very heartwarming."

He added of the disaster: "When everything goes and you have each other, it's very emotional ... [The grief] comes in waves ..

"You lose your home, you're part of a club nobody wants to be a part of ...

"We know it's not an immediate sense of relief," he added. "And so, we're just there for one another."

It comes after Keleigh previously admitted she wishes she'd thought to take her wedding dress when the couple evacuated their home.

In a post on Instagram, she explained: "If you're in the LA area PLEASE get out if you can. I wish I grabbed my wedding dress ... Wish I did a lot different but it doesn't matter, stay safe, get out. there are no words ... THANK YOU to the first responders fighting."

She later added: "To everyone reaching out I can't thank you enough, your kind hearts have meant the world, I'll never forget them.

"Community has come out stronger than I could imagine, Pacific Palisades I love you beyond measure; you are a little slice of heaven, we will come back stronger than ever."

Other stars who lost their homes to the wildfires including Mel Gibson, Billy Crystal, Tyra Banks and Paris Hilton.
