Johnny Depp teases Pirates 4 story

Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance at American fan convention Comic-Con to announce details of new ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ movie.

Johnny Depp has revealed what fans can expect from 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides'.

The 46-year-old actor – who plays Captain Jack Sparrow in the ‘Pirates’ franchise - appeared in character in a pre-recorded video at American annual fan convention Comic-Con at the San Diego Convention Centre, California, to tell people what will happen in the fourth movie.

He said fans can look forward to “zombies, cutthroats, mermaids, and the vicious and vivacious Penelope Cruz”.

In character Johnny explained rumours regarding a storyline involving the Fountain of Youth were untrue.

He said: “You may have also heard whisperings and rumours that Jack Sparrow will be recruiting a crew to undertake a voyage to the Fountain of Youth. Not true, course not. But you wouldn’t be interested in joining me, would you?”

And Captain Jack promised “variable and substantial dangers on the way.”

The teaser ends with the pirate promising “Bloody Marys all round!”

Johnny recently admitted he loved his character so much that he would do up to seven movies if he could.

He said: “Some people will say, 'Aha, Depp sold out by doing the sequels.' But it was never an issue for me. I love Captain Jack so much I'd do 'Pirates 7' if they asked me."

Although Depp is returning to the Disney franchise his co-stars from the first three films; Keira Knightley, Orlando Bloom, and Mackenzie Crook are not coming back for the sequel.
