    Penelope Cruz's scenes tweaked

Penelope Cruz's Scenes in 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' had to be "tweaked" so people would not see her baby bump.

Penelope Cruz's Scenes in 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' had to be "tweaked" so as not to reveal her baby bump.

The Spanish actress revealed earlier this week she is four and a half months pregnant with husband Javier Bardem, and producers of the pirate adventure film were said to initially be worried as to whether they could schedule her role as Blackbeard's daughter in the film before she began to show.

A source told LifeandStylemag.com: "The film company was worried about scheduling because of Penelope's pregnancy but tweaked some of the scenes to make it work."

The 36-year-old actress is presently scheduled to be on her way to London, where filming of some final scenes will take place before the movie wraps later this month.

Although little is known about Penelope's character, Angelica, in the film, it has also been revealed she becomes romantically involved with Johnny Depp's character Captain Jack Sparrow.

The source added: "There's a little romance between Captain Jack and the character that Penelope plays."

Penelope's role in the fourth instalment in the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchise is also likely to include some action sequences and rope work, which the actress is no stranger to, and enjoyed thoroughly when she performed them for the film 'Nine'- even though they left her with rope burns and bruises.

Of her rope routine she explained: "I was dancing in the dark with one spotlight on me, so I had to be extremely alert and focused.

"There were other things to think about, so I was not in pain while dancing - I was just praying not to fall!

"But on the last day of filming I couldn't stop crying, because I had been doing dance classes and rehearsals for so many months. I was addicted to it!"
