Simon Cowell reportedly asked for colonic irrigation in a massage clinic

The 54-year-old music mogul is said to have asked his limo driver to drop him off at a colonic cleansing centre for the procedure - where a patient's colon is flushed out through their bottom - but was instead left looking red-faced when he asked for the treatment at a reflexology centre

Employees at the facility are said to have got the giggles when Simon asked: "Am I in the right place for a colonic?"

The 'X Factor' and 'Britain's Got Talent' judge - who is also a fan of intravenous vitamin injections, hand waxes and sheep placenta facials - reportedly looked puzzled when he walked into the centre in Chelsea, in London's West End, where they specialise in foot massages.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "He took a look around, checking out the foot maps.

"Staff disguised sniggers when he then asked about his colonic appointment.

"One quietly pointed out he was in a reflexology clinic and the place he needed was up the road."

Simon - who has four-month-old son Eric with girlfriend Lauren Silverman - was said to be looking for Cosmetech, a clinic which charges £97 for the process and he once said of the treatment, "It's so cleansing - and it makes my eyes shine brighter".
