    Tyra Banks mentors Cara Delevingne

The 'America's Next Top Model' host has revealed she has bi-annual meetings with the 'Paper Towns' actress and model Karlie Kloss to discuss "strategy".

She told Entertainment Tonight: "The modelling industry during my hey day was really about supermodels - household name supermodels, like Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer.

"Cut to ten years later, it's making a shift, and I think it's because of social media. So now, we have Cara Delevingne and we have Karlie Kloss ... Girls like that, that are breaking through the clutter, and are now becoming known.

"We meet a couple of times a year. We do strategy maps, and then they'll go off and they'll ex ecute, then they'll come back and we check in again. It's nice to see that what they're doing is working."

Meanwhile, the 41-year-old model and television personality previously admitted models are under "so much pressure" nowadays.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote: "Models have so much pressure today. They have to look good on AND off the set. They have to arrive backstage at fashion shows looking and dressed as if they are already ON a runway. They have to be slimmer than slim. Skinnier than skinny. (sic)"
