    A man has pleaded not guilty after a crash that claimed the life of a Taranaki teenager


    The 37-year-old entered not guilty pleas ... on charges of dangerous driving causing death, possessing a meth pipe and cannabis plant, and refusing to give a blood sample.

    The two-vehicle crash happened on August 28 on State Highway 3 in Brixton, north of New Plymouth.

    18-year-old Olivia Renee Keightley-Trigg was driving the other car and died at the scene.

    The man, who cannot be named, is remanded in custody and will next appear in New Plymouth District Court in November.
