Wellington Police have made contact with a woman they've been looking for since the start of the week

Wellington Police have made contact with a woman they've been looking for since the start of the week

Jessica Mortlock was last seen in Epuni, a suburb of Lower Hutt, on Monday morning.

On Wednesday night, police released an alert saying the 34-year-old was missing and her family was concerned for her welfare.

Yesterday police made contact with Mortlock, who was on the Terrace in Wellington city.

They're still appealing for sightings and say she may have checked in to a hotel or motel.

Mortlock's described as approximately 162 centimetres tall and of very slim build.
