The school of a teenager killed in an Oamaru hit and run is supporting its students through the tragedy

The school of a teenager killed in an Oamaru hit and run is supporting its students through the tragedy

A 14-year-old girl was killed by a car on Severn Street - State Highway One - about 10.40 last night.

St Kevin's College principal, Paul Olsen, says they're offering students support.

He says they held a full school liturgy in their chapel this morning, helping students work through the tragedy.

Paul Olsen says their thoughts and prayers are with the family.
