A baby whose face blistered after wearing SPF 50 sunscreen may have had an allergic reaction

A baby whose face blistered after wearing SPF 50 sunscreen may have had an allergic reaction

That's according to the Cancer Society ... whose product was on the baby's face.

Reefton mother-of-two Lyndall Watson says she put the sunscreen on four month old Noah.

He was in the shade with a hat on, but his face later developed blisters.

Cancer Society chief executive Mike Kernaghan says an investigation's under way, but he stands by his product.

He says he's confident the product meets its SPF 50 claims.
