Buses are replacing trains between Wellington and Wairarapa due to frosty conditions

Buses are replacing trains between Wellington and Wairarapa due to frosty conditions

Services on the Hutt Valley and Wairarapa lines experienced delays this morning due to ice forming on the overhead wires in Upper Hutt.

The 10.30am train from Masterton to Wellington, and the return service at 12.45pm, are being replaced by buses.

Metlink says passengers should allow for extra travel time.
