    Police are seeking information about an aggravated burglary in Oamaru early yesterday


    Two men disguised with scarves entered a house in Holmes Hill and went into a bedroom where a man and woman were asleep.

    The men held pair at gunpoint and demanded money and drugs, assaulting them in the process, before getting away.

    The man and woman needed treatment for their injuries at Oamaru Hospital.

    Anyone who saw anything unusual in the area early yesterday by way of vehicles or people is asked to call Oamaru Police on 10-5.
