    A man is facing a careless driving charge for crashing a 290-thousand dollar Ferrari in Auckland's Victoria Park tunnel during a test drive this year


    It's believed the extensively damaged car, has sold at auction through Turners for just over 50-thousand dollars.

    The white 2013 Ferrari Italia 458 coupe was for sale at luxury car dealership Continental Cars at the time of the crash.

    A 33-year-old North Shore man has been charged with careless driving.
