    Police are investigating an aggravated assault at an Auckland bar over the weekend


    Two armed offenders entered Mount Roskill's Richardson's Restaurant, demanding money - early on Sunday morning.

    A staff member was hit, before the offenders escaped in a waiting vehicle.

    NewsHub broadcaster Duncan Garner claims he was on the premises at the time, and witnessed the assault.
