An Aviation Commentator says it could be a long time before domestic flights return to normal

An Aviation Commentator says it could be a long time before domestic flights return to normal

Air New Zealand is increasing its operations by nearly a hundred flights over Queens birthday weekend to meet a surge in demand for Kiwis wanting a long weekend away.

There will be extra flights to and from Blenheim, Gisborne, Kerikeri, Napier and Nelson.

Peter Clark says the added flights are only a short term solution.

He says Air New Zealand is nowhere near what it used to be, and that the fares are based on travel.
