Some unfamiliarity for Sophie Devine upon her return to the Wellington Blaze

Some unfamiliarity for Sophie Devine upon her return to the Wellington Blaze

The White Ferns captain will today play for her domestic side against Otago in the domestic Twenty20 competition.

The last time Devine wore the Blaze colours was last season's victorious final, after an unbeaten season.

But after an extended stint in Australia, she's walking into a team which has lost one of its four games so far, and is second on the ladder.

First ball in Dunedin's at 11:40am.
