A campaigner against child exploitation says it's time to face up to the fact New Zealanders are deep in the global trade of child sex material

A campaigner against child exploitation says it's time to face up to the fact New Zealanders are deep in the global trade of child sex material

An Oamaru man has been sentenced to four years jail for charges including distributing child sexual abuse publications, and being part of an organised crime group.

Stop Demand founder Denise Ritchie says he's not the only one involved in this crime at every level.

She says we've seen that with businessman Ron Brierley.

Brierley has surrendered his knighthood since pleading guilty to possession of child sex abuse material.
