The Green Party won't be accepting more money from a donor found guilty of severe animal abuses

The Green Party won't be accepting more money from a donor found guilty of severe animal abuses

Masterton woman Lindsay Fraser donated almost 54 thousand dollars.

She's at the centre of animal neglect described as one of New Zealand's worst cases.

But Greens co-convenor Penny Leach says under the Incorporated Societies Act, the Party can't return the cash, or pass it to the SPCA.

She says they condemn any animal welfare abuse - but are required to use funds given to the Party for their intended political purpose.
