    Police have arrested a woman in relation to a shooting in Wellington's Vogeltown


    Armed police were called to a Travers Street house about 2.45pm on Sunday, finding a 41-year-old woman outside with a gun shot injury.

    She is in a stable condition in hospital.

    Police executed two search warrants in Wellington and the Wairarapa this morning.

    A 32-year-old woman was taken into custody in Carterton, charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

    She has appeared in the Masterton District Court and been remanded in custody.
