The 30-year-old loose forward's career has ended after being advised to retire on medical grounds due to a knee injury.
Squire's told James Marshall on the What a Lad Podcast that calls in the All Blacks camp were "like the Da Vinci code" and he couldn't figure it all out written down.
Squire says injuries to his shoulder, hip and knee continue to trouble him as he maps out his post-rugby career in Nelson.
