After months of delays, the couple accused of leaving Auckland's lockdown for a holiday home in Wanaka have their first court appearance today - albeit not in person

Equestrian William Willis and lawyer Hannah Rawnsley were charged in September with failing to comply with a Covid-19 health order.
They were initially set to make their first appearance at Papakura District Court in October.
But - as with most recent cases involving defendants not in custody - the matter was delayed repeatedly during Auckland's lockdown.
