    A horror weekend so far on our roads has claimed nine lives since Friday afternoon


    It began with the deaths of four teenage boys in Invercargill shortly before 4 Friday.

    Police have now named the victims.

    They were Konnor Steele, Indaka Rouse, Kyah Kennedy and O Maruhuatau Tawhai.

    Four people died in separate crashes yesterday.

    They were in Levin, Whangarei, Awakeri near Whakatane and Raglan.

    A ninth person die shortly before 1 this morning south of Kaitaia.
